Registrant Address Validation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The WHOIS Accuracy Program Specification of the 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement requires registrars to validate and verify certain data fields, such as phone number, email or postal address. ICANN and the community are working to address issues raised by registrars and registrants regarding this process, such as the difficulty of reliably performing validation on a global scale. During this session, ICANN’s Registrar Services Team will discuss this work to date and invite attendees to share their feedback. This meeting might be of particular interest to registrars, registrants, address validation service providers, public safety agencies and intellectual property lawyers.
