Currently, Registration Data Directory Services can only accept and display domain registrant contact information using ASCII characters. This makes it challenging for registrants around the world to provide accurate data because their information is recorded using local scripts, such as Devanagari, Arabic or Chinese. In this meeting, members the Translation and Transliteration of Contact Information Implementation Review Team and members of ICANN’s Global Domains Division will meet to discuss the status of ongoing policy implementation work, including issues and challenges, potential mechanisms and a timeline. - Staff Leader: Brian Aitchison
